Hi! I’m Kate, a 35 year-old, married to my beloved husband of 7 years who is a Vicar. Formerly a minister myself, I am now “just a housewife” (and not at all desperate!). In addition to my husband and myself, our household consists of my 84 year old father-in-law, the occasional student, our cat, and our dog (who is unusually talented and even has his own blog: http://itsadogslife.wordpress.com – at least all those newspapers we kept putting under him as a puppy didn’t go to waste!). Sadly, no children – not for a lack of wanting or trying, though.
So, welcome to my kitchen. I love kitchens – they are warm and cosy, and you get to know people much more intimately in them. A kitchen is the real hub of a home. So help yourself to a steaming hot mug of tea or coffee, or even a hot chocolate, and I’ll get the cakes and scones out of the oven.

Glad I found your blog. I am a former Pastor’s kid and youth pastor. I am now a SAHM of two boys, one of which is adopted. I love the kitchen myself and the yummyness doesn’t hurt
Blessings,

It was lovely to see you last week.
