At Brixton prison in London there has recently, apparently, been some kind of theatre project going on.  A group of the inmates were to put on a nativity play (using speeches from Shakespeare, strangely!), but extremely unexpectedly, the man who was playing God the Father was let out on parole early.  Apparently, this convict was so keen to play his part and not let down his fellow cast members that he was hammering on the prison doors trying to get back in to prison.

And is this not truly what God is doing through the incarnation of his Son Jesus our Saviour – trying to batter down the doors of our hearts to come in to us.

I wish you all a joyful and holy Christmas.   Holly

  1. Sooo, Kate….I’m wondering what you bought your husband for Christmas. And did he like it? 🙂
